This section explains VNS Privacy Policy. It explains (1) who collects information through
the VNS service, (2) what information is collected, (3) how the information is used or
distributed, (4) what security procedures are in place to protect the personal information
that is collected, (5) what choices are available regarding the collection, use, and
distribution of a user's personal information, and (6) to whom users should address their
questions and concerns regarding our collection of information and our Privacy Policy.
Please note that this Privacy Policy applies only to VNS and the VNS web site. We try
to work with others that are as careful with your privacy concerns as we are, but we
cannot be responsible for the privacy practices or the content of other web sites.
Who Collects Information On The VNS Web Site
VNS is the only party that collects information about users on the VNS web site.
What Information We Collect
VNS collects two types of information about its users: non-personal information and
personal information.
Non-personal information is information that cannot be used to personally identify a
user. It includes information about the IP address of a computer that connects to the VNS
web site when a user visits, the URL from which a user came to the VNS web site, the type
and version of the browser used to view the VNS web site, and the duration of a single
visit to the web site.
Personal information is information that can be used to personally identify a user.
Some of this information is collected when a user first registers by fax or mail to use
the VNS service; examples include a user's name, address, e-mail address, and phone
number. Some personal information is collected by surveys that users are asked to
participate in while they visit the VNS web site.
We also collect personal information from users for billing purposes. This information
may include, for example, a user's preferred method of payment. Some of this information
may be gathered from third parties, such as a credit report. The collection of this
information presently occurs off-line, though we may begin to collect it on-line in the
future.
Cookies
Some of the information collected on the VNS web site is collected using
"cookies." These cookies do not contain any personal data about any user. These
cookies are "temporary" cookies that exist only for the duration of a visit to
the VNS web site.
How We Use The Information That We Collect
Our primary purpose in gathering the information we collect is to make the VNS service
and useful and friendly as we can for our users. For example, we use much of the
non-personal information we gather, such as information about a user's IP address, to
correct technical problems that may occur while visiting the web site. We may use
information about the type of browsers that our users use to modify our web site so that
our users can use all of our site's features.
We also aggregate non-personal information to spot market trends and to improve our web
site for our users. We might, for example, expand a service that we find many users use.
Or we might analyze the aggregate data and realize that our buyers in the New England area
are purchasing a lot of trucks, while our sellers in the Southeast are selling a lot of
trucks.
We use the personal information we gather to improve the usefulness of our service for
our users. For example, by collecting information about what web pages a user usually
visits, we can better custom tailor our services in the future to make sure that we
present a user with those options and services that each individual user finds most
valuable.
We also use the information to contact our users to present users with special offers
being offered through the VNS service, or to provide the user with site and service
announcement updates.
We use the personal billing information for billing purposes only.
We will never disclose our users' personal information to other parties except (a) when
we have a user's explicit consent, (b) when required to do so by legal process, (c) to
collect bills and fees due to VNS, (d) as part of a sale of the VNS business.
Our Measures To Protect Your Personal Data
We use industry standard practices to safeguard the confidentiality of our users'
personal information. On our network, we use "firewalls" to protect the data
from outside parties, and Secure Socket Layers to ensure that your entry of personal data
at the VNS web site remains private.
All personal data is restricted in the VNS offices. Only employees who need information
to perform a specific job are granted access to personal information. Employees must enter
a password to gain access to the personal information of users. All employees are also
kept up-to-date on VNS security and privacy practices.
Users should be aware, however, that there is no "perfect security system."
Users Option Regarding Their Personal Information
If a user's personal contact information, such as its e-mail address or phone number,
changes, that user can change the information collected by VNS to ensure that VNS has the
correct contact information for the user.
If a user decides that he or she would like to stop using the VNS service and would
like to have all personal information about the user removed from VNS web site, VNS will
make all reasonable efforts to remove that user's personal information from VNS databases.
If you wish to have such information removed from the VNS site, please contact info@vnscorporation.com or call 800-405-9710.

Please address your concerns with our Privacy Policy to info@vnscorporation.com.
Notification of Changes
If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on our web site
so that users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under
what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally
identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was
collected, we will notify users by way of e-mail or by phone and users will be able to
"opt out" of any new use of their information.
